Colon Warren Wethington
February 26, 2010Colon Warren Wethington, 74, of Emerald Isle, died February 26, 2010 at his home.
Mr. Wethington served with the US Army ASA.
The funeral will be held 11:00 am at Jones Funeral Home in Jacksonville with Rev. Michael Blevins officiating. Burial will follow at Dogwood Cemetery in Maysville.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Raymond Augustus Wethington and Mary Littleton Wethingon and brothers, Dolan, Jerry, and Horace.
He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Betty Odom Wethington of the home, son, Colon Warren Wethinton, Jr. and wife, LuEllen of Deppe; sisters, Lois Provost Albertine of Jacksonville and Debra Provost Fuentes of Tulare, CA; one step grandson and two step great grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 3:00 to 5:00 PM Sunday at Jones Funeral Home of Jacksonville and other times at the family home.
