February 27, 2010JACKSONVILLE - Mary Elizabeth Sykes, 82, of Jacksonville, died Saturday, February 27, 2010 at Carebridge Assisted Living. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Tuesday at Jones Funeral Home, Jacksonville Chapel with Rev. Jody Yopp officiating. Burial will follow at Onslow Memorial Park.
Mrs. Sykes was a member of Kellum Baptist Church.
Survivors include her daughter, Carolyn Mercer of Jacksonville; son, Kenneth Dawson of Hinesville, GA; seven grandchildren and eighteen great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends Monday evening 6:00pm until 8:00pm in the Chapel of Jones Funeral Home.
