Pancho Hernandez
July 01, 1920 - March 09, 2010JACKSONVILLE, NC – Francisco “Pancho” José Hernandez, 89, died Monday, March 08, 2010 at his home. Funeral services will be held Thursday, 11:00 AM at Brookwood Baptist Church with Dr. David Gasperson officiating.
A native of Cuba, he was the owner/operator of Hervi Signs and a member of the Jacksonville Rotary Club.
He is preceded in death by his son, Gus Hernandez and a granddaughter, Alexandria Edwards; and his first wife, Carolina LaRosa Hernandez.
Survivors include his wife, Marta L. Hernandez; five daughters, Carol Thomson, Elvira Webb & Isabel Fulghum, all of Jacksonville, Betty Klem of Greensboro and Martha Edwards of New Bern; sister, Ana Villar of Florida; thirteen grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends Wednesday evening from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Jones Funeral Home, Jacksonville.
