Obituary
Hubert- Annie “Marie” Garner, 79, passed away Saturday, February 4, 2023 at Onslow Memorial Hospital with her family by her side. She was born September 3, 1943 in Carteret County, NC a daughter to the late Gardner and Lucille Rouse Buck.
A Funeral service will be held Wednesday, February 8, 2023 at 2:00pm at Jones Funeral Home-Swansboro. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
Annie loved to spend time with her family and friends. She was a giver and loved to make people smile and had a very joyful appearance whenever she entered the room.
She is survived by daughter, Cathy Ritenour (Scott) of Locust Grove, VA; son, Prentiss Garner, II of Hubert; and brothers, William Buck of Leland, Gardner Buck of Clinton, and Ernest and David Buck of Newport.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Prentiss Gray Garner; sisters, Rebecca Stoots and Lucille Crank; and brother, Glenn Buck.
