Obituary
- Viola Ruth Ruete 91, was born in Hackensack, New Jersey on August 27, 1931 and died in Onslow County on February 2, 2023. A memorial mass is scheduled 10:00AM on Monday at Infant of Pargue Catholic Church in Jacksonville.
Ms. Viola worked for many years as a clerk for the Blue Cross and Blue Shield insurance Company. Viola will be remembered as a professional volunteer. She served at Infant of Prague with the Navy relief and many other service/relief organizations. She was loved by all her family and friends.
Ms. Viola was predeceased by her husband Alfred W. Ruete;her parents, George Knopf and Ruth Morris Knopf, her two brothers and one sister.
Ms. Viola is survived by one daughter Donna Ruete of Jacksonville.
