Kenneth Earl Straughn, 68, of Beulaville, NC passed away on October 10, 2022 at his home surrounded by his family. A Funeral Service will be held at 12:00pm on Thursday, October 13th at Jones Funeral Home Chapel in Richlands, NC with Rev. John Taylor and Rev. David Jarman officiating. Burial will follow at Onslow Memorial Park.

Kenneth retired after 25 years of service with the Onslow County EMS. He was also an avid hunter.

He is preceded in death by his mother, Jessie Padgett Straughn; and his brothers, James Straughn and John David Straughn.

He is survived by his loving wife of 49 years, Hilda E. Straughn; his two daughters, Marie Dennis (Jeffery) of Richlands and Stephanie Straughn of Leland; his granddaughter, Kailee Dennis; two great grandchildren, Graysin and Scarlett; his three brothers, Linwood Straughn (Frances) of Richlands, Wally Straughn of Phoenix, AZ, and Michael Straughn (Carol) of Virginia Beach, VA; and one sister, Joyce Hemby of Richlands.

The family will receive friends at Jones Funeral Home in Richlands on Wednesday, October 12 from 6:00pm to 8:00pm.
