Obituary

SNEADS FERRY  -  Troy Edward Parker, 87, of Sneads Ferry, died Saturday, May 21, 2022 at his home.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, May 25, 2022 at Jones Funeral Home, Jacksonville Chapel.  Burial will follow at the family cemetery on Turkey Point Road in Sneads Ferry. The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM immediately before the service at the funeral home.

Mr. Parker was preceded in death by his loving wife of 58 years, Karen Register Parker; infant son, Troy Parker Jr.; parents, J.B. and Ethel Parker; and Brothers, Robert Parker, J.B. Parker Jr., and William Parker.

Survivors include his daughter, Gail Heath (Tim) of Chinquapin; son, Aaron Parker (Tonya) of Sneads Ferry; six grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and brothers, Walter Parker, Mitchell Parker, and Paul Parker.
