JACKSONVILLE - Elean Nixon Bolster, 84, of Jacksonville, left her earthly home and went to her heavenly home on Wednesday, February 6, 2019.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday at the New Bay Primitive Baptist Church with Pastor James DeLuca and Elder D.B. Stokes officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
Mrs. Bolster was born in Onslow County, NC and was the daughter of the late Albert and Ella Silance Fisher. She was preceded in death by a grandson, Franklin “Buddy” Batson and a son-in-law, Charlie Waters.
Survivors include her husband of 63 years, Raymond G. Bolster of the home; two sons, Raymond G. Bolster, Jr and his wife, Rena of Ft. Wayne, IN and Nelson A. Bolster and his wife, Shelby of Jacksonville; three daughters, Sharon B. Reagan and her husband, Lynn, Verna B. Waters and Gail B. Batson and her husband, Frankie, all of Jacksonville; five grandchildren, Raymond G. Bolster, III, Holly B. Hampton (Dustin), Chris Reagan (Brandy), Shanon B. Civils (Stephen) and Aimee Batson; nine great-grandchildren, Isabella Bolster, Hunter and Ezera Taylor, Ayden and Eleanor Reagan, Katelyn and Riley Batson, Morgan Lewis (Chris) and Mason Civils; one great-great granddaughter, Brynlee Lewis; her sister-in-law, Flora Fisher; and her honorary family, The Stewarts from Murphy, NC.
Visitation will be held on Friday evening from 5 - 7 PM at Jones Funeral Home, Jacksonville Chapel and other times at the home.
