MGYSGT Norman Jack Kincaid, USMC (Ret.), 94, a resident of Jacksonville for 55 years, passed away Sunday, September 9, 2018.
He was born on November 2, 1923 in Page, WV to the late Willard Preston and Ruby Clara Wilson Kincaid. His wife of 50 years, Marilyn Joan Kincaid also preceded him in death.
Norman served in the USMC 24 years of active military service and 27 years of civilian service at Camp Lejeune. He is a World War II, Korean, and Vietnam Veteran, and received the Presidential Unit Citation, along with many more awards.
He is survived by his daughters, Lizabeth Pittman & Norma Parrish, both of Jacksonville; three sons, Robert Kincaid (Jo Ann) of Wilmington, Gregory Kincaid (Beth) of Rocky Point, Charles Kincaid of Jacksonville; a niece, Brenda Claypool of Ohio; 11 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.
A graveside service, with full Military Honors, will be 11 am Tuesday, October 2, 2018 at Onslow Memorial Park with Reverend Robert Hall officiating.
