JACKSONVILLE - Sara "Patricia" Magouirk, 75, of Jacksonville, died Thursday, August 1, 2019 at Kindred Hospital in Greensboro. Graveside funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Monday, August 12, 2019 at Coastal Carolina State Veterans Cemetery 110 Monford point road in Jacksonville.
Mrs. Magouirk was a Realtor in Jacksonville and surrounding areas with Coldwell Banker ,Century 21, Remax, .
She enjoyed life to the fullest; loved bingo, casinos, fishing and old classic country music. She used to enjoy to dance so much in her earlier years to the music of Freddy Fender, Hank Williams, Conway Twitty, George Jones, Merle Haggard and so many more.
Mrs. Magouirk was preceded in death by her husband, Robert D. Magouirk; and her oldest daughter, MaryEllen Cheryl Jackson Gulker.
She is survived by are her four children, Virginia Jackson Larson of Leland, George M.Jackson of Castle Hayne, Sara Hull Crowell of Jacksonville, and Vertice (Deannie ) Dobson of TX; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren that loved her dearly.
“She was the strongest women we know and the most unselfish and forgiving. She will be forever missed. She loved her grandchildren and great-grandchildren very much. She had COPD and heart problems and grew very tired, before finally refusing help at the hospital. Finally, her heart stopped and she passed. We, as her children and grandchildren will miss her very much. She has touched so many lives. Now, it is her time to shine and fly as angels do. Rest in peace Mom. We love You always.”
