JACKSONVILLE- William Raymond Otten, 64, of Jacksonville, North Carolina died on March 5, 2022 at his residence.

William is preceded in death by his father, William Otten and mom, Mary Jane Otten.

He is survived by his wife, Cynthia Otten of the home; his daughters, Larinda Garner of Jacksonville, NC and Patricia Escodedo of Iowa; son, James Johnson of Jacksonville, NC; six grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; brothers, John Otten of California, Tom Otten of Nevada, Jim Otten of Alabama, and Mark Smith of Iowa; and many other extended family members and friends.

A graveside service with military honors will be held on Tuesday, March 15, 2022 at 2:00 PM at Coastal Carolina State Veterans Cemetery in Jacksonville, North Carolina. The family will receive friends on Monday, March 14, 2022 from 6:00 – 8:00 PM at Jones Funeral Home in Jacksonville, NC.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Jones Funeral Home in William's name to help pay for the funeral expenses.
