Holly Ridge - Agnes Ottaway Leonard, 83 passed away peacefully on Monday, August 31, 2026, at Novant Health New Hanover Regional Medical Center. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, September 10, 2026, at 2:00 pm at Jones Funeral Home Chapel in Holly Ridge with Reverend Andy Ottaway and Rodney Joseph Braddy, Jr. officiating, with burial to follow in the Ottaway Family Cemetery, 274 Ottaway Ave. in Holly Ridge. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.

She was a homemaker and was preceded in death by her husband; Frank Leonard, her parents; Jasper Phillip Ottaway and Leona Pearl Parker Ottaway, her daughter; Cynthia Darlene Costello and her brothers; Jim and Bill Ottaway.

Survivors include her son; Doyle Wayne Pearson, Jr. (Lynn) of Hampstead, her daughters; Sherry Pearson Braun (James Reece) of Hampstead, Shelly Pearson Hauser of Delco; grandchildren, Ashley, Jeffrey “JD”, Jason, Kathryne, Rodney, Jacob, Eric, Amanda, and Nikko; great-grandchildren, Alysha, Kenzie, Harper, Charlie, Reagan, Bronte, Guillaum, Moss, and Noa; great-great-grandchild, Oliver; her sisters; Rosalee Batts of Hampstead and Linda Bullard of Holly Ridge and her brother; Andy Ottaway (Elizabeth) of Holly Ridge; and several nieces and nephews.
