JACKSONVILLE  -  Alan Tyler Cook, 74, passed away Tuesday,  January 20, 2026, with his loved ones by his side.

Mr. Cook was born August 15, 1951 in Bristol, Massachusetts to the late Jean and Willard Cook. In life he was known as a jack of all trades, specializing in engineering.

He married the love of his life Benilda, affectionately referring to her as Anna. They have lived a beautiful life together full of adventure for more than 15 years.

In life, Alan enjoyed tinkering with cars, hot tubs, gardening, and a love for animals.

He was preceded in death by his brothers, Willard Cook, William Cook, and Michael Cook.

He leaves behind his wife, Anna (Benilda) Moore; his daughter, Sherry Hendrickson (Carla Hendrickson); grandchildren, Samantha Moore, Grey McCloughan, and Chasen Swett; step-children, Tina Moore, Terry Moore, and Todd Moore; his sisters, Donna and Nancy; and many loving friends.
