Hubert- Alex Eleen, Jr., 74, passed away Sunday, April 19, 2026, at Carolina East Medical Center. He was born October 25, 1951, in Albuquerque, NM, a son to the late Alex (Rusty)Eleen, Sr. and Thelma Jean Nash Eleen.

A graveside service will be held Saturday, May 2, 2026, at 11:00am at Piney Grove Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Alex Poindexter officiating.

Alex faithfully served his country in the US Air Force before joining the USMC where he served 16 years and retired at the rank of GySgt. After his retirement he began a career of 20 years with ONWASA Corporation, after retiring he volunteered at Navy-Marine Corps Relief Society for 12 years. His greatest joy was spending time with his family and friends. He loved to fish, hunt, riding his Motorcycle, doing maintains on the vehicle and spend time on the water.

He leaves to cherish his memory his soulmate and wife of 54 years, Cassie Eleen of the home; granddaughter, Zoe Jean Toler (PJ) of Maysville; his pride and joy great granddaughter, Lila Rose, and nephew David Eleen.He was preceded in death by his daughter Kelly Robin Eleen and brother David Eleen and his twin brother Allen Eleen.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Onslow County Relay for Life (Kelly's Team) or to Piney Grove Bible Fellowship.
