JACKSONVILLE - Alicia Madrid Gomez, 80, of Jacksonville, died Sunday, January 8, 2012, at Carolina Rivers Nursing Home.
Memorial services will be held at 2:00 PM on Monday, January 30, 2012 at Pine Valley Unitted Methodist Church with Rev. Thurman Horney officiating.
Mrs. Gomez was born in Mexico City, MX and was the daughter of the late Javier and Leonor Sanchez Madrid.
She is survived by her husband of 59 years, Lisandro Gomez of the home; three sons, Alex Gomez of San Francisco, CA, Edward Gomez of New York City, NY and Daniel Gomez of Honolulu, HI; and one granddaughter.
