Jacksonville – Amelia Boehle, 84, loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother, born on February 24, 1942, in Naples, Italy to a large, loving Italian family, peacefully passed away on August 2, 2026. While there will be no formal services, she will be placed at Arlington National Cemetery with her husband at a later date.

She was proceeded in death by her loving husband, Kenneth; parents, Antonio Frenda and Anna Capuano; brothers, Mario, Salvatore, and Guido; sister, Ana and Vanda and dear friend, Laura.

Those left to cherish her memory are son, David (Debra) Boehle of Jacksonville, NC; daughter, Elizabeth (Todd) Gilson of Phoenixville, PA; sisters, Tina, Elena, and Rita; brother, Gino; grandsons, Christopher (Ashley) and Phillip (Caitlin); granddaughter, Jennifer (Earnie), all of PA. great-grandsons, Mitchell, Parker, Nathaniel, Reed, and Nico; great-granddaughters, Kelsey, Gabrielle, and Stacia; many cherished nieces and nephews; and her very special friends, Maria Foster, Antoinette Wood, and Angela Tortura. Last but not least, her “babies”, beloved rescue puppy Charlie and rescue kitten, AnnaMarie, who filled her life with so much joy.

In lieu of flowers, her wish would be to donate to one of her favorite charities – Wounded Warrior Project, St. Jude, or your local animal shelter.
