She is survived by her three daughters, Debra Faires and husband Charles, Lisa Williams and husband Andy, Jollie "Jo" Belfiore and husband John; grandchildren, Charlie Faires and wife Ashley, Lacy Raynor and husband David, Duncan Faires and wife Blaine; Lindsey Cotroneo and husband Ryan, Drew Williams and wife Madison, Danielle Lassitter and husband TJ, Jonathon Belfiore and wife Miranda; her cherished great-grandchildren, Chasley , Wilson, Pierstyn, and Willa Kate Faires; Brinley, Raleigh, Lilly, and Granger Raynor; Kimber and Grady Faires; Jolly and Kenly Belfiore; Ellie and Walker Lassitter; and June Cotroneo, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Jolly and Amy shared a love that was truly special. They loved spending time together and could often be found dancing together in the living room.
Amy worked in civil service at Camp Lejeune and MCAS New River. After 19 years, she stopped working and helped Jolly start his own company – Pierce Construction Company.
She was a faithful, longtime member of Covenant ARP Church, where her faith in Christ shaped the way, she lived each day.
Amy also a volunteered with the Onslow Memorial Hospital Auxiliary for more than 30 years and was a dedicated member of the Eastern Star for over 50 years.
She enjoyed gardening and canning alongside her husband and sisters. Amy was well known as being an exceptional southern cook, famous for her homemade biscuits, pound cakes, and German chocolate cakes.
Amy was beautiful inside and out. She never met a stranger, and everyone who crossed her path was touched by her warmth, generosity and genuine hospitality.
She was the heart of our family, and because of her love, her three girls remain close, carrying forth the bond she so lovingly nurtured. That same love has embraced her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, who brought joy and blessings in her life. Her faith in Jesus Christ guided the way she lived and loved, and because of him, we have the hope and comfort of knowing we will see her again.
Specials thanks to our wonderful caregivers, Susan Apple and Sue Hill who helped care for our mother. Also, a special thanks to Amedisys Home Health Care for all their kindness, care and support.
