Jacksonville - Andrew Mark Blau, 71, of Jacksonville, North Carolina passed away peacefully on Monday, March 2, 2026, at his home surrounded by his family.  Memorial services will be held at a later date.

Andrew was born on January 21, 1955, in Philadelphia, PA to William Blau and Nancy G. Blau. In addition to his father, he is preceded in death by his son, Sammy Blau.

He served his country in the United States Army and retired as a Building Engineer with Philadelphia Inquirer and Daily News

Survivors include his wife of 15 years, Ellen L. Blau of the home, his mother; Nancy G. Blau of Northwest Philadelphia, Pa. His children, Sarah Blau of Levittown, PA, George Ivascu (Kaitlynn) of Maryland and is stationed in Germany, Maryellen Folliard (Jim) of Lansdale, Pa. Glenn Ivascu (Amy) of Hubert, Heather Blau of Lansdale, Pa. and Holly Blau of Williamston, Pa.
