With heavy hearts we announce the passing of Angela E. Guthrie, 73 of Sneads Ferry, NC. Angela was born on January 7, 1953 in Onslow County. She went to be with the Lord on June 9, 2026 at Onslow Memorial Hospital.

Funeral Services will be held on Monday, June 15, 2026 at 1:00 pm at Jones Funeral Home in Holly Ridge, NC, with Reverend Sandy Bain officiating. Burial will follow at Yopps Cemetery in Sneads Ferry. The family will receive friends 1 hour prior to the service.

She is survived by her brother; Roger L. Guthrie (Carolyn) of Sneads Ferry, two nieces, one nephew and many cousins all of whom she loved very much.

Angela was preceded in death by her parents; Murray L. Guthrie and Bernice Foster Guthrie of Sneads Ferry, NC.

Angela received her Associate of Arts degree in Dental Hygiene from Coastal Carolina Community College in Jacksonville, NC. She worked for many years at various dental practices. She enjoyed reading and spending time with family and friends.

Her faith in Jesus Christ was a quiet but steady part of her life. Throughout her journey she touched many lives with her humor and generosity. Despite many health challenges she remained resilient and grateful.

The family would like to thank all who supported Angela during her illness. She will be missed and remembered for the love she gave others.
