Ann McDaniel Spence, 79 passed away peacefully on Thursday, September 11, 2025, at Lower Cape Fear Hospice in Wilmington. Preceded in death by her parents, Robert & Ivey McDaniel and her brother; Tommy "TOM" McDaniel. Ann was a gardener with Grants Creek Nursery.

Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, September 16, 2025 from the chapel of Jones Funeral Home in Jacksonville at 2:00 pm with Reverend Bobby Williams officiating. Burial will follow at the Morton Family Cemetery. The family will receive friends 1 hr. prior to the service on Tuesday.

Survivors include her husband of 57 years; Milton Frank Spence of the home and her sister; Jane Croom (Phil).
