JACKSONVILLE  -  Anne L. Angel, 74, of Jacksonville, passed away Monday, January 13, 2025.  Graveside funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Thursday, January 23, 2025 at Eastern Carolina State Veterans Cemetery in Goldsboro.

Mrs. Angel enjoyed going to the beach. She loved gardening and crafting items to make her house beautiful. Most importantly, she loved her family. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Angel; mother, Martha Brooks; father, Stephen Brown; and two brothers, Cecil Brown and Charles Brown.

Survivors include her children, Tony (Tammy) Brown of Clarksville TN, Michelle Smith of Jacksonville NC, Stephen (Jennifer) Smith of Maple Hill NC, and Richard Angel Jr. of Surf City NC; sisters, Vivian Rich of Richlands NC and Charlotte Jones of New Augusta MS; brothers, Wayne Brown of Richlands NC and Lynne Brooks of St. Petersburg FL; twelve dear grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
