Emerald Isle- Anthony “Tony” Calvin Elliott, 81, passed away Thursday, August 27, 2026 at Carteret Healthcare. He was born on November 25, 1944, son of the late Calvin S. and Eleanor Patter Elliott.

A celebration of life will be held Thursday, September 3, 2026, at 2:00pm in the chapel of Jones Funeral Home-Swansboro. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.

Tony was an electrical contractor with Bryant Electric and Bryant Durham until his retirement. His hobbies included training horses, collecting vintage cars and always lending a helping hand to anyone in need. He was active in Henderson-Vance Chamber of Commerce and the Rotary Club of Henderson.

He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Lynda Griggs Elliott of the home.

He was preceded in death by his brother, Thomas C. Elliott.
