SNEADS FERRY  -  Aunita Millis, 85, of Sneads Ferry, died Friday, January 2, 2026, at her home. Graveside funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Tuesday, January 6, 2026, at the Kell Family Cemetery in Sneads Ferry, with Rev. Tommy Yopp officiating.

Mrs. Millis was a daughter of the late Joseph Lemmie and Mary Ethel Dixon Millis.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by four siblings, Mary Lena Shepard, Louise Shepard, Annie Marie Millis and David Millis.

Survivors include her daughter, Tina Kell and her husband, Jerome of Sneads Ferry; son, James Thompson and his wife, Dana of FL; eight grandchildren, Jesse, Lori, Donald, Justine, Jason, Jeremy, Lauren and Jenna; seven great-grandchildren, Jasmine, Katelyn, Cameron, Chris, Elizabeth, Jasper and Paul; and one sister, Nellie Emerson of New Hampshire.

The family will receive friends Monday evening from 5 – 8 PM at the home of Tina and Jerome Kell, 409 Fulcher Landing Loop Road, Sneads Ferry.
