Barbara Lynne Burgess' Obituary
Sneads Ferry – Barbara Lynne Burgess, 68, of Sneads Ferry, North Carolina passed away on December 5, 2025, at her residence. Memorial services will be held on Friday, December 19, 2025, at 2:00 PM at New River Community Church.
Barbara was born on August 1, 1957, in Onslow County, North Carolina to the late Donald Guy and Nettie Hill Guy.
She is survived by her husband of 38 years, Thomas "Tom" Burgess; siblings, Donnie Guy (Kim), Mark Guy (Cindy), and Susan Oljaca (Mark); special niece, Charlee Williams; nephews, Ryan Parr, Logan Guy and Little Mark and niece, Susan Lynne.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church, from 1:00 to 2:00 PM.
