Swansboro- Barbara Murphy Esterbrook, 73, passed away June 15,2025 at Onslow Memorial Hospital. She was born August 18,1951 in Jacksonville, NC a daughter of the late Joseph and Madeline Murphy.

A private celebration of life will be held at a later date.

Barbara was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend who loved to spend time with her family and friends.

She is survived by daughters, Jennifer Odum (Kevin) of Swansboro, Toni Marie Evans (Hal) of Stella, Kandi Lynn Comer of Swansboro; son, Austin Esterbrook (Brittany) of Newport; sister Polly Marlowe (Gary) of Maryland, Tiffney Billhimer (Jack) of Florida, Marvin Murphy (Lucy) of Maryland, and 11 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Stuart Earl Esterbrook; brothers, Raymond, Donald, and Mac Murphy; and a sister, Susie Morris.
