Barbara McNamee Fry, 62, passed away peacefully on Friday, May 23, 2025, at her home in Jacksonville, NC.  A Celebration of Life will be held on Wednesday, June 11, 2025, at Jones Funeral Home in Jacksonville at 2:00pm with Pastor Sandy Bain officiating.  Burial will follow at Onslow Memorial Park.  The family will receive friends and family 1 hour prior to service.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Walter and Elizabeth Ramsky McNamee, her sister, Linda Freeman and her nephew, Brian Freeman.

Barbara is survived by her son, Gary Fry, III of San Diego, CA.; her daughter, Michelle Godette (Johnny) of Havelock; her grandchildren, Cecilia, Gary IV, Madeline, Jordyn and Johnny III; her brother, Walter McNamee Jr. (Debbie) of Jacksonville and her sister, Patricia Boyd of Pulaski, VA. She was an Experience Manager with MCCS for 12 years, where she made many friends that were like family.
