Swansboro- Barbara Ann Littleton, 90, passed away at her home on Thursday, June 18, 2026, with her family by her side. She was born May 2, 1936, in Norwich, Norfolk England, a daughter of the late George and Ida Woolner.

A survivor of World War II growing up was hard for her, her sister Jean as well as her family.

Barbara enjoyed shopping with her daughters, going to church on Sundays, reading and knitting.

She is survived by her husband of 68 years, Everitt Littleton of the home; daughters, Cally Ryder (Steven), Laura O’Donnell (Jim), and Gina Harper (Mike). She has 2 grandchildren and had a very special bond with her grandson, JR Harper as well as 3 great grandchildren.

During our mom’s illness she was taken care of by her husband, daughters as well as her nurse of nearly 2 years Patricia Thompson, which our family is so grateful for her love and care of our dear mother. Hospice was also there for our family with care from Katelyn and Thelma, again thank you for all your care.

Barbar was preceded in death by her beloved sister Jean Howell (Tony) now they will be together in heaven with our Lord and Savior.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations can be made to Swansboro United Methodist Church or to St Judes Children’s Hospital.
