JACKSONVILLE – Barbara West Starr 72, was born in Lillington, NC on December 16, 1948 and passed away on November 4, 2021 at Onslow Memorial Hospital in Jacksonville, NC. A 3:00PM Celebration of Life is planned for Saturday November 13, 2021 at Jones Funeral Home Chapel in Jacksonville, NC followed by a Memorial Service starting at 4:00PM.

Barbara is preceded in death by her father Robert West and mother Catherine West.

Barbara is survived by her husband, Robert Edward Starr; her son, Rob Starr and his wife Mandy; her daughter, Erin Starr Lis and her husband Dennis; her sister Betty West Spence and her husband Phillip. Barbara is lovingly known as Grandma and Amma to her six grandchildren Dorian, Nathan, Owen, Emma, Anna, and Olivia. She is also affectionately known as Grand Barb and B. Barb to many children she knew and loved throughout her life.

Barbara loved life, loved people, and loved dogs.  She will be missed by all who cherish and love her.
