STELLA. - Barry Dean Meadows, 62, of Stella, passed away Monday, January 5, 2026 at his home.   A Celebration of Life will be held at 6:00 PM on Friday, January 9, 2026, at Jones Funeral Home, Swansboro Chapel with Rev. Jim Stephens officiating.

Mr. Meadows was born November 29,1963 in Onslow County, NC, to the late Iven and Isabelle Trot Meadows.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Gary Van Meadows.

He was a hardworking man who loved to make things as beautiful as could be whether it was landscaping or construction, but his greatest enjoyment was being surrounded by his friends and family.

Survivors include his son, Ryan Meadows of Stella; and two sisters, Linda Sames of Stella and Pamela Smith of Jacksonville.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the charity of one's choice.
