Wife, mother, daughter, sister and aunt, Beatrice Martinez entered fully into the presence of the Lord on August 26, 2021 at the age of forty-three. She is survived by her husband Salvador Martinez, their three children Teresa, Vanessa ,Enrique, her parents, and extended family members.

A native of Port-au-Prince, Haïti, Beatrice grew up in Prince George's county from the age of twelve and graduated from High Point High School. She would later marry her high school sweetheart, who she met during her senior year. Her rich Hatian cultural background was evident by her strong protective instincts and willingness to do anything for her family. She was a devoted mother who loved being involved in her kid's school activities with soccer being her favorite.

Beatrice had a passion for cooking and baking. She was an amazing cook that would often be excited to try new recipes with her family and friends. Her cake decorating skills were rivaled only by her delicious baked goods. Skills she adopted from her mother Therese. A special memory her mother will always have of her is cooking Beatrice her favorite meal, stew chicken drumsticks and dressing up in her mother's clothes.

Following her sense of adventure, she traveled through Europe and Asia where she enjoyed experiencing different cultures.
