JACKSONVILLE  -  Bessie Mary Hutcheson Hammond, 95, of Jacksonville, passed away peacefully  Wednesday, August 27, 2025 at Lower Cape Fear Hospice. A Celebration of Life Visitation will be held at 2:00 PM on Sunday, August 31, 2025 at Jones Funeral Home, Jacksonville Chapel.

Mrs. Hammond was born August 3, 1930 to Warren and Sarah James Hutcheson in Roxboro, PA. She retired from property management and was preceded by her husband; Frank Sinchak (father of her children), her sister; Alice Reuber and nephew; Charles Reuber.

Survivors include her daughter, Bernadette Froelich of Jacksonville; sons, Donald Sinchak of Wasola, MO, Frank Sinchak of Jacksonville, Bill Sinchak of White Oak, TX, Michael Sinchak of Jacksonville and Robert Sinchak of Waco, TX; twenty grandchildren; thirty-six great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
