Swansboro-Bette Ann Campbell Ryan, 82, passed away at her home on Wednesday, March 12,2025 with her family by her side. She was born June 14,1942 in Dedham, MA a daughter to the late Otis Campbell and Doris Campbell Laskey.

A funeral will be held Thursday, March 20,2025 at 11:00AM in the chapel of Jones Funeral Home-Swansboro with Chaplain Rick Brooks officiating. The family will receive friends one hour (10:00AM) prior to the service at the funeral home.

Bette was a nurse and loved to care for the community. She and her husband Ronnie owned and ran Hwy58 Bicycles of Emerald Isle, NC for many years before retiring. Bette could always be found cooking up a storm or near the water. In her early years by Lake Willoughby, Westmore, Vermont and later on the White Oak River in Carteret County, NC. She was also a member of the Red Hat Society and loved to spend time with her family and friends.

She is survived by her husband, Ronald "Ronnie" Ryan of the home; daughter, LeAnn Henry (Paul) of Cedar Point, NC; son, Wayne Ryan (Jessica) of Peletier, NC; grandchildren, Wayne Carlos Ryan (Kelsey), Kelsey Elizabeth Henry, and Dylan Lane Mason; sisters, Alice Brown of Fort Wayne, IN and Susan Souza of Cumberland, RI; brother, Paul Lasky of North Attleboro, MA; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her siblings, Cindy, Carol, Jackie, Buddy, Bobby, David, JoAnn, Maude, and Barbara.
