Jacksonville- Betty Ann Yarbrough Patten, 94, passed away at her home on September 29, 2026. She was born on November 16, 1931, in Atlanta, GA, a daughter, of the late H. V. and Jewell Melrose Adams.

A funeral service will be held later in Conyers, GA.

Betty was a court reporter and had a productive career in Civil Service.

She is survived by cousins, Joyce Barrett of Conyers, GA and Charles Esco of Winder, GA; special friends, Sandy Scott of Richlands, Kim Gillette of Richlands, and Christy Gillette of Winnabow; and her very special companion Babe.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Stanley Edwin Patten.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the charity of one’s choice.
