JACKSONVILLE  -  Bobby Ronald Pittman, 91, of Jacksonville, died Tuesday, June 3, 2025 at Onslow Memorial Hospital.  Memorial services, with military honors, will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, June 21, 2025 at Jones Funeral Home, Jacksonville Chapel with Pastor B.J. Nielsen officiating.  Entombment will be held at a later date at Coastal Carolina State Veterans Cemetery.

Mr. Pittman was a son to the late Veston and Mozzelle Barbour Pittman.  He loved Northwoods United Methodist Church, where he was a member for many years.  Equal was his love of country and he was extremely patriotic and very proud to have served in the US Army.  He was a wonderful husband and found great pleasure spending time with all of his family.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Cindy Chiavacci; and six siblings, Edna Morton, Ann Gabler, Doris Watkins, Gene Pittman, Jerry Pittman and Alma Mitchell.

Survivors include his wife, Claudette Pittman of the home; two daughters, Tammy Custy of Jacksonville and Melody Janovetz of Moyock, NC; two sons, Eddie Little of Yelm, WA and Michael Little of Jacksonville; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends Saturday morning, prior to the service, beginning at 10:00 AM at the funeral home.
