Obituary

Bonnie Lee Scott 61, of Sneads Ferry died at her home October 28, 2012.

Bonnie was born July 24, 1951in Jackson Memorial Hospital, Miami, Florida to the late James B. Aycock, retired Air Traffic Controller and M. Patricia Aycock retired Dade County Public School teacher. Bonnie's early years of schooling was at Cutler Ridge Middle School where she played flute in the marching band and played 1st chair flute in concert band. Graduated from Miami Killian Senior Highschool class of 1969, North Georgia College and State University-Dadlonega, Georgia with a English LIterture/Education completed two years and Mami Dade Community College to get Respiratory Therapy License. Worked at Commercial Bank of Kendell as a bookeeper, Respiratory Therapist at South Miami Hospital, at home medical transcription, book keeper at Affiliated Healthcare, Elementary Office Clerk at Kendale Lakes Elementary School. Bonnie loved reading, writing, yoga, meditation, walking and listing to music, soccer Mom, and was involved in her children's Girl Scout and Boy's Scout troops.

Memorial services will be held 5:00 PM Thursday at Jones Funeral Home Chapel in Jacksonville with Reverend Bill Young officiating.

Surviving; her husband John C. Scott married May 24, 1990, of the home. Her children, Star Melgar of Miami, Fla., Robert (Julieta) Melgar of Raleigh, James Melgar of Sneads Ferry, Christopher (Rebecca) Scott of Atlanta, Ga. and John Phillip (Ana) Scott of Sneads Ferry. One sister, Melissa (Dave)Bullock of Atlanta, Ga. Four grandchildren; Robert, Hannah, Chanyn and Selma. Nephews and Niece; Rhett, Matthews, Kimberlee and Bryan. Great-Nephews Elijah and Mekhi.
