Jacksonville – Brenda Jo Messick, 67, passed away August 26, 2026 at Onslow Medical Center.

Services to celebrate Brenda’s life will be private.

Brenda was born and raised in in Milford Delaware. Brenda is preceded in death by her parents, Norman and Cleo Messick and brother, Billy Messick.

Brenda is survived by her daughters, Heather Taylor (Lee) of Jacksonville, NC and Jessica Parks (Carlton) of Stafford Virginia; grandchildren, Kade, Peyton, Emery, Mason, Oliver, and Sawyer; sister, Carla Calvanesa; and brother, Keith Messick; many loved nieces and nephews; and her favorite grand-dog, Maisey.
