In Loving Memory of Brenda Lynn Wentling

October 29, 1969 – May 16, 2025

Born in Delano, California on October 29, 1969, Brenda Lynn Wentling lived a life rooted in love, faith, and selflessness. After graduating high school, she proudly joined the United States Air Force, where she met the love of her life, James Wentling.

Her children—Sarah, Trevor, Austin, Derrick, and Jacqueline—were her greatest joy, and her faith was her unwavering foundation. She gave freely and often, literally giving others the shoes from her feet. Her kindness knew no bounds, and her heart had room for everyone.

She is preceded in death by her beloved sisters, Barbara Daily and Teresa Allen. Though our hearts are heavy, we take comfort in knowing she is at peace. She was truly too good for this earth— the very best of mankind—and loved more deeply than words could ever capture.

We are sad for us, but happy for her.

Brenda Lynn Wentling, 55, passed away on May 16, 2025. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, May 29, 2025 at 11:00 AM at Infant of Prague Catholic Church in Jacksonville, NC. Burial with military honors will immediately follow at Coastal Carolina State Veterans Cemetery.

The family requests everyone dress in colorful attire for the service.
