Hubert - Brian Lee Hass, 43, born April 16, 1967 of Hubert, formerly of Newton, NC died Wednesday, April 13, 2011 in Camp Lejeune, NC.

Brian was a 1990 graduate of NCSU with degrees in chemistry and economics. He worked at Camp Lejeune as an environmental chemist supervisor. He was also an avid golfer, loved fishing and had a deep love for the NC State Wolf Pack.

A memorial service will be held 2:00 PM Sunday at Cape Carteret Baptist Church with Rev. Kevin Club officiating.

He is survived by wife, Carla Parks Hass of the home; his parents, Kenneth Bruce and Mary Katherine W. Hass of Newton, NC; and sister Beth Nolley and husband Frank of Newton, NC.

The family will receive friends following the service on Sunday at the church.
