HUBERT  -  Bruce "Moose" Henderson, 75, of Hubert NC, passed away, Sunday September 29, 2024.

Memorial services will be at 3:00 PM on October 2, 2024 at Jones Funeral Home, Swansboro Chapel.

Mr. Henderson was preceded in death by his parents, William and Margaret Henderson; brother, Carl Henderson, and loyal dog, Pal.

He is survived by his daughter, Laura Walker; grandchildren, Ryan Whalen and Rachael Hancock; great grandchild, Maxwell Hancock; and beloved cat, Paisley.

Bruce loved his country. He was a true patriot who backed his troops. He will be remembered for his lively debates and for not having a filter. Bruce loved telling jokes, many of which were inappropriate. His favorite pastime was fishing, particularly bass fishing. Bruce had a tough exterior, yet he had a soft spot for his family and St. Jude's Children's Hospital. His memory will live on through his great grandson Max, who has the same blue eyes. Bruce will be missed by all who knew him.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to St. Jude's Childrens Research Hospital.
