Candelaria David Kurtzweil, 74, passed away on May 8, 2026, in Fort Worth, Texas. Memorial services will be held on Saturday, June 13, 2026, at 2:00 PM at Jones Funeral Home, Jacksonville.

Ms. Kurtzweil was born on May 5, 1952, in Republic of Philipines to the late Marcelino David and Maria Cunanan. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband of 51 years, Tom J. Kurtzweil.

She is survived by her children, Joseph Kurtzweil (Angela), Maria Kurtzweil, Dante Kurtzweil (Yesenia), Thomas Kurtzweil (Anne) and John Paul Kurtzweil (Miju); grandchildren, Joseph Jr., Hannah, Deja, Tristan, Annabeth, Drake, Lyanna, Griffin, Isabella, Mia, and Jack; great-grandchildren, Kaelyn and Jade; and several extended family and friends.

The family will receive friends on Friday, June 12, 2026, from 5:00 to 7:00 PM at Jones Funeral Home, Jacksonville.
