Carl Steven Courtright, 71 of Hubert, died on Friday, May 22, 2026, at Onslow Memorial Hospital.

Carl was preceded in death by his parents, Carl and Reba Courtright and his brothers, Gordon Courtright and Ronald Courtright.

He is survived by his son, Christopher Courtright of the home, his daughter, Tanya Davis of Texas; grandchildren, Maggie, Cory, Donovan and Kirstin; great grandchildren, Charlie and Oliver; brothers, Robert Courtright of TN and Hanns Courtright of LA; sisters, Wanda Thompson of NC and Connie Gehris of NC.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Carteret County Humane Society, 853 Hibbs Road, Newport, NC 28570.
