Carolyn Faye Kinsey Custy, 83, of Hubert died Tuesday, May 9, 2023.

She is preceded in death by her husband Donald William Custy Sr. and her parents Robert Henry Kinsey and Phnella Craft Kinsey.

Carolyn is survived by her daughter, Estell Custy Carter and husband Dennis of Hubert; son Donald William "Pete" Custy Jr. and wife Tammy of Jacksonville; brother Robert C. Kinsey and wife Frances of Jacksonville; Grandchildren Cameron Custy and wife Haley of Jacksonville, Carson Custy and wife Kaitlyn of Jacksonville, and Hannah L. Custy of Jacksonville; Great Grandchildren Hunter Carter, Cali Mays, and Cannon Custy; sisters-in-law Nancy Custy Elliott and Patricia Custy Brown. She is also survived by her lifelong friend Annie Carol Parker and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Carolyn never met a stranger and she loved her family and friends. She had a talent for making things and she loved plants, sewing and quilting with her quilting sisters at Kellum Baptist Church.

A graveside service officiated by Rev. Damon Williamson will be held on Monday, May 15, 2023 at 10 a.m. at Coastal Carolina State Veterans Cemetery.
