JACKSONVILLE  -  Cathy Figueiredo 75, died on January 29, 2023 in Onslow County.

Cathy was born in Spain and moved to Argentina with her parents at four month's of age.  She later came to the United States in 1970 where she remained for the rest of her life. Cathy will be long remembered as a mother and grandmother who was strong willed and a passionate fighter.  She was also an amazing cook.  She made the best Asado and Chimichurri sauce ever.

Cathy was survived by two daughters, one son and six grandchildren; Karolina Wise and her husband Aaron of Jacksonville, NC, Andrea Posada and her husband Robert of Miramar, Fl, Fernando Figueiredo and his wife Luz of Miami, Fl and six grandchildren.
