Swansboro- Cecil Lamar Green, 89, passed away at his home on Saturday, May 31,2025. He was born February 3,1936 in Lake City, FL the only son of the late John and Deliala Denmark Green.

A graveside service will be held Wednesday, June 4,2025 at 1:00pm at Seaside Memorial Park with Rev. H.C. Hardesty officiating.

Cecil faithfully served his country in the United States Marine Corps and retired at the rank of GySgt and then began a career in construction.

He is survived by his wife, Nettie Green; daughters, Kay Scott (Thomas) of Lakeland, FL and Diana Pearson (Randy) of Newburgh, IN; grandchildren, Jennifer Scott, Chris Scott, Joey Pearson, Dylan Pearson, and Riley Pearson; and great grandchildren, Kaelyn, Peyton, Drew, and Zayden.

He was preceded in death by two sisters, Gladys Kott and Lorraine Sermon.
