Richlands- Charles Johann Bierkamper (41) passed away Friday, October 9, 2026, at ECU with his loved ones by his side.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, October 16, 2026, at First Christian Church of Richlands. Visitation will begin a half hour earlier, at 10:30 a.m.

Charles was born February 6, 1985, in Reno, Nevada to the late Linda, and George Bierkamper.

In life Charles served honorably in the United States Marine Corps as a CH-53 Crew Chief.

He leaves behind his wife, Kristen Bierkamper, children, Andrew Bierkamper, Caroline Bierkamper, sister, Anna Bischoff and many loving family and friends.
