Charles (Charlie) Bryant Harrison, 61, of Cape Carteret, NC, passed away on Monday, April 13th, 2026.

Devoted son, brother, and uncle, he dedicated his days to the care of his immediate family. He volunteered the majority of his adult life to taking care of his mother, until her passing in 2021. He will be remembered as an animal-lover, avid collector of the arts, and a man of constant resiliency. Even in his final moments, he was determined to succeed.

He is preceded in death by his father Zachary Taylor Harrison III, his mother Heidi Marie Harrison, his brother John Marshall Harrison, and nephew Zachary Taylor Harrison V.

He survived by his older brother Zachary Taylor Harrison IV (65) of Ellerbe, NC, his younger sister Barbara Harrison (56) and brother-in-law Timothy Bronson (61) of Hubert, NC, his nephew John Bronson (28), niece Megan Bronson (19), and great-niece Taylor Harrison (14).

He also leaves behind his three "fur-children" Precious, Molly, and Bongo, his beloved Bengal cats.

Arrangements are by Jones Funeral Home, in Swansboro, NC.

There are no services scheduled at this time. The family will hold a Celebration of Life service at a later date.
