Holly Ridge – Charles "Bobby" Robert Bush, Jr., 95, of Holly Ridge, North Carolina passed away on May 13, 2025, at his residence. The family will receive friends Sunday, May 18, 2025, from 1:00 to 2:45 PM at Jones Funeral Home, Holly Ridge. A graveside service with Rev. Van Lawing will follow at 3:00 PM at St. Philips Episcopal Church located at 661 Tar Landing Rd Holly Ridge, NC 28445.

Bobby was born on July 29, 1929, in Wayne County, North Carolina to the late Charles R. Bush, Sr. and Ruth Howard Bush. In addition to his parents, Bobby was preceded in death by his loving wife of 67 years, Hazel Parker Bush, son Ernie Bush, and sister Ada Jean Bush Hobbs.

Bobby loved the salt water, and that reflected in his beloved marina Bush Repair Center on Topsail Beach, where he worked 6 days a week year-round. Bobby was a hard-working man, who loved his family, visiting with friends, listening to live country or bluegrass music and traveling with his adored Hazel.

He is survived by his daughters, Gail Rowe (Clifton) and Vennie James (David), both of Holly Ridge, grandchildren Tammy Snodgrass, Lisa Snodgrass, and Matthew James, as well as four great grandchildren and four great-great grandchildren. His cherished caregivers, Leslie D'Antonio, Larry Williams, Kathy McMahan, and Liberty Healthcare and Hospice of Jacksonville.
