Swansboro- Charles "Chuck" Devin O'Ham, Sr., 72, passed away at his home on Wednesday, April 29, 2026. He was born in Washington, NC on September 7, 1953, and he was the son of the late Charles Benjamin and Joyce Lucille Pryor O'Ham.

A private celebration of life will be held at a later date.

Chuck faithfully served his country in the US Navy and then began a career as a dispatcher with the power company of Wilson, NC. His greatest joy was living on his boat and being a disc jockey at senior clubs throughout eastern NC.

He is survived by son, Devin O'Ham, Jr. of Wilson; siblings, Glenda Joyce Anderson (Benny) of Emerald Isle, Ben O'Ham of Wilson, and Lesa Leonard of Cape Carteret; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by siblings, Rocky P. O'Ham and Jeffrey K. O'Ham.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the charity of one's choice.
