Mr. Charles Lawrence Watkins, Jr. age 53, of Swansboro, died April 13, 2014.
Visitation will be Wednesday evening from 6pm till 8pm at Jones Funeral Home, Swansboro.
Funeral Service will be 1pm Thursday afternoon at Swansboro First Baptist Church with Dr. Larry Harper officiating.
Burial will follow at Seaside Memorial Park.
Mr. Watkins is survived by his wife, Jane Cross Watkins; a son, Charles L. Watkins, III of Swansboro and a daughter, Alexandra Marie Watkins of Swansboro; Mother and stepfather, Alice Tripp Hicks and Clawson Hicks of Pine Knoll Shores; a brother, Robert Brian Watkins of Newport.
Mr. Watkins was preceded in death by his father, Charles Lawrence Watkins, Sr.
He was also very active in the community, coaching Youth Recreational Activities which involved softball, football and basketball.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Sanders Park, Swansboro.
