Connie Lynn Carter, 65, joined our Lord on Monday October 23 2017.
Connie was born in Tell City IN and after traveling she settled and lived most her life in Jacksonville, NC. She was married to James Carter on August 11, 1989. Connie was a retired school teacher at Thompson Early Childhood Center. She dedicated 22 years to helping special needs children and truly loved her job and coworkers. Connie's hobbies were her children and grandchildren. She enjoyed crabbing and fishing, and spending time at the beach. Connie shone with her own light and people were drawn to her genuine loving heart and warm kind face. She touched many lives and we we're blessed to be her family.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, October,27 at 6pm at Christian Life Fellowship on Summersill School Rd in Jacksonville, NC.
Connie is survived by her husband James Carter, children, Alexander Morris, Adam Morris, Phillip Johnson, Sherea Robida, and their respective spouses, Peggy Morris, Tanya Morris and Richard Robida and 23 grandchildren.
She predeceased by her mother Ruby Dixon, sister Shelia Kessner and sister Cindy White.
